Terms of Service

Effective date: October 1, 2026

1. Who provides the service

The AltRadar platform and related services (the "Service") are provided by Altradar ("Altradar", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Altradar and govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

Altradar provides site-screening software, including parcel data views, screening checklists, AI-generated suitability scoring and explanations, a partner portal for submitting sites, and related analytics. The Service may include a free tier (limited screenings) and paid subscription plans.

3. AI-generated content and accuracy

The Service uses generative artificial intelligence to produce suitability scores, rankings, and written explanations. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Outputs are for general informational and screening-assistance purposes only and are not legal, financial, investment, environmental, or engineering advice, and are not a substitute for professional due diligence. You are responsible for your inputs, for how you use outputs, and for independently verifying any information before acting on it. You retain all rights to the site data you submit ("Your Content") and grant Altradar a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; commit fraud or send spam; infringe intellectual-property rights; interfere with the Service's security, probe or scrape it, or introduce malware; generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, or attempts to bypass model safeguards ("jailbreaking"); or resell or redistribute Service data without permission. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter AI outputs, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

6. Payment and subscription terms

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. Free-tier limits apply to screenings on the free plan; paid plans remove those limits. All payments, billing, taxes, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled by our online reseller Paddle.com. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Please review Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription in the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, data models, branding, and documentation, is owned by Altradar and protected by intellectual-property laws. Altradar grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. We retain all ownership of the Service and its IP. You must not reverse-engineer the Service or circumvent technical limits.

8. Service availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and we may modify or discontinue features from time to time.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the six (6) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury where such limitation is not permitted by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. You may export your submitted site data before termination; we may delete account data after a reasonable post-termination window.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
