About
I'm the founder and senior analyst at AltRadar, where I screen industrial land across the six New England states for two mandates: energy-grid development and logistics siting. Every parcel in the dashboard is evaluated against the constraints that actually decide a deal — interconnection distance, developable acreage, wetlands and floodplain exposure, highway access, and local zoning.
My approach pairs public grid and facility records with hands-on parcel review. Rather than a black-box score, each screened site carries a written rationale, so the pipeline you export is one you can defend to a partner, a landowner, or a utility.
AltRadar grew out of a simple frustration: site intelligence in New England is scattered across utility filings, town assessors, and state GIS portals. This tool pulls the screen into one place — and keeps the analyst in the loop for every judgment that matters.
Screening Mandates
Energy Grid
Substation proximity, interconnection voltage, and capacity score for generation and storage siting.
Logistics
Highway access, exit-node distance, and 30-minute catchment population for distribution siting.
Constraints
Wetlands, floodplain, and zoning reviewed before a parcel ever reaches the pipeline.
How I Work
- Every ranked site carries an explicit score and a written rationale — never an unexplained number.
- Facility, owner, and status records are drawn from verified public sources, with a source link on every site page.
- Estimates are labeled as estimates: acreage, drive times, and suitability scores are analyst assessments, not filed data.
